• As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership and delivery of business-criticalAPI-driven platforms and web applications. You will design, develop, enhance, and support robust REST-based AP Is and modern applications while ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
• You will serve as the technical counterpart to senior design stakeholders, ensuring that proposed user experience solutions are technically feasible, architecturally sound, and efficiently implementable. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between design vision and engineering execution.
• You will drive engineering excellence by implementing development standards, ensuring code quality, managing CI/CD pipelines, and promoting secure software delivery practices across the entire development lifecycle.
• You will collaborate with global teams, participate in architecture discussions, support integration activities, and contribute to strategic technology decisions that support DHL's digital transformation initiatives.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• Solid experience in Java, React, REST AP Is development and Spring Boot is a huge plus.
• Very good knowledge of building secure cloud native applications will also be an integral part of this role.
• Previous exposure to generative and agentic AI or AI-assisted software engineering practices would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure, in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe.
• Advanced English.
