Mobile Test Automation Engineer for George (Digital Banking)

• Partner closely with developers throughout the entire user story lifecycle to deliver high-quality, market-ready software every Sprint.
• Design and maintain structured, comprehensive test cases that ensure outstanding product quality.
• Execute and enhance automated mobile tests using open-source tools such as Appium, preventing defects before they reach production.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that contributes to overall engineering excellence.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside developers, business analysts, and product experts.
• Collaborate across the Erste Group network, connecting with colleagues in Prague and Vienna.
• Work on a product used by 10+ million customers across Europe.
• Travel to Vienna once per quarter for in-person collaboration with international teams. If you wish to travel more frequently, you are welcome to do so any additional visits are highly appreciated and seen as a plus.
• All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.

• 4+ years of experience in software development and QA, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Solid object-oriented programming skills in Kotlin or Java.
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Appium.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to assess testing outcomes independently.
• Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an openness to feedback.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and QA best practices.
