Legal Counsel (m/f) Building Construction

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting major construction projects throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, site management and company leadership, you will provide legal guidance, manage contractual matters and help safeguard project success from a legal and commercial perspective.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal and contractual support for construction projects
• Advise project teams and management on legal issues arising during project execution
• Support and lead contract-related negotiations with clients, partners and stakeholders
• Review, analyse and assess contracts, identifying legal and commercial risks
• Advise on claims management, including the preparation, defence and negotiation of claims
• Represent the company before public authorities and administrative bodies
• Collaborate closely with project managers and senior management on strategic legal matters
• Participate in meetings, negotiations and project discussions both remotely and on-site

What matters to us

• University degree in Law or Legal Studies
• 3-5 years of experience in construction contracts, contracts for work and public procurement
• Experience gained in private practice and/or successful completion of the bar exam is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within the Czech Republic
• Native-level Czech or Slovak, with excellent written Czech skills
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, German language skills are an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently manage complex legal matters
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
